The Island of Favignana

Let’s spend a week in an Island that will bewitch us with its beauty and food.We’ll take it easy, but still will have lots of fun.

We’ll discover Favignana little by little, we’ll swim in the beautiful turquoise water and learn to choose the best cove for the day by observing the wind. We’ll cook some simple recipes but very tasty and others a little more complicated like the cus cus, arancine, tiramisu.

In the evening will be a pleasure to promenade in the little town licking an ice-cream cone, I suggest the pistachio is the best.

We’ll stay at Nonna Angelina’s summer house, 300 yards from Cala Azzurra, and the cooking will take place in the patio immersed in the pinewood. After lunch a little siesta rocking on the hammock or sunbathing on the solarium.

And what about an aperitifs in the most suggestive sites that tourists do not know?

The last night we’ll stay at the hotel in Trapani and have a pizza at Pizzeria Calvino, the best pizza in town since 1946.
